What service does AssetTrack offer?
AssetTrack advertises new and used manufacturing equipment.
Can anyone use the AssetTrack online database to find the equipment they need?
Yes! Just visit our website to locate the equipment you need, quickly and easily. There is no need to register or login in order to search our database.
How do I find what I want to buy?
You can find equipment in one of two ways:
- Searching for specific keywords - Use our powerful search engine to find advertisements on our database which contain specific keywords. For example, a search using a manufacturer name will find all information in our database with this manufacturer’s name.
- Browsing product categories - Products are grouped into categories (e.g. Metalworking Machinery) and then by sub-category (e.g. Lathes). If you select a sub-category you will receive a list of products in this category.
Who can sell equipment?
All users, who have registered as members on the AssetTrack website, are allowed to sell products. To register, simply log on to our website and follow the simple instructions. Alternatively, you can call AssetTrack and we would be delighted to help you through the registration process.
Who are the typical Sellers?
There are two types of Sellers who use this website. Private Sellers and Dealers.
- The Private Sellers want to sell surplus equipment that they no longer need for production. It is better to sell a piece of idle equipment and turn it into cash rather than waiting for it to depreciate in a store room.
- Dealers want to reach a larger audience of machine buyers through the AssetTrack website. Some of their equipment may be reconditioned and come with a warranty. Use the 'Ask Seller a Question' button to enquire about full machine details.
Why should I advertise my surplus equipment on the AssetTrack website?
There are two types of Sellers who use this website. Private Sellers and Dealers.
- Your adverts are displayed to an audience of machine buyers on the AssetTrack website for 3 months.
- Your adverts are e-mailed to Buyers on the AssetTrack network. Thousands of businesses have already subscribed.
- Your adverts are e-mailed to relevant dealers. Currently over 650 dealers on our list.
- Your adverts can be renewed for FREE after 3 months.
How much does it cost to advertise on the AssetTrack website?
First 3 adverts cost 50 euro each, and additional adverts cost 30 euro each. Login today and create your own adverts online instantly. You can pay by credit card. Alternatively, you can e-mail us your advertisement details, we will upload them onto the website, and we will invoice you.
We have special advertisement deals running for Dealers. If you are a dealer, and you want to advertise your equipment in front of a large audience of equipment buyers, then contact us today. Many dealers have already sold equipment by advertising on the AssetTrack website.
Is registration Free?
Yes! It is free to register to become a user on the AssetTrack website. The registration form is easy to complete and should take you no longer than 2 minutes.
Will AssetTrack keep my registration information confidential?
Yes! AssetTrack will keep all your personal information confidential. All information provided by Sellers and Buyers to AssetTrack through the registration process or otherwise shall be used by AssetTrack solely for the purposes of its business. Under no circumstances will this information be sold to third parties for marketing purposes. AssetTrack is a registered Data Controller with the Data Protection Commissioner of Ireland.
How do I create an advertisement to sell equipment?
To create an advertisement to sell equipment you must first register. After registration, login your account AssetTrack account, and click on the Sellers Area option. Click on the Create an advertisement button. You may need to purchase credits to create adverts. All new adverts must be approved by AssetTrack before your listing will be live on the website. Use the 'How to Sell Equipment' link below for more details on how to create adverts.
As a Buyer, how can I be sure that the listed information is accurate?
Business transactions between Sellers and Buyers in the AssetTrack Marketplace take place in a fair and ethical manner. All used equipment is bought in an "As Is" state. No warranty is implied or given unless stated otherwise on the machine advertisement.
How do I get more information about a product for sale?
We realize that not every detail can be included in a machine advertisement. Simply click the 'Ask the Seller a Question' button to enquiry about a machine. Your enquiry and contact details will be forwarded to the Seller who can then contact you directly. AssetTrack is not involved in any negotiations between yourself and the seller. However, if you do not receive a reply from the seller within 48 hours, please contact AssetTrack for assistance.
Can I place a ‘Wanted Advertisement’ with AssetTrack?
Yes, you can place 'Wanted Ads' for FREE! We encourage users to place 'Wanted Advertisements' for any equipment they cannot find on the website. These 'Wanted Advertisements' are circulated to relevant dealers to find suitable options for the Buyer.
